I Got A FREE Ad For A Whole YEAR!

I was completely psyched when I saw a thread in the Etsy Business Topics Team about an opportunity to get a freebie ad space in an online "mall" showcasing lots of different categories for an entire year!  So I contacted Susan from Jade Dumpling on Etsy and gave her my info for the ad space.  All she needed was permission to use my shop's banner, some general info for a newsletter, and a quick description of my shop and work!  Above is my ad, I know you probably can't read it, but do check it out here!  There's lots of other categories and if you're interested in getting your own ad space, it is limited so contact Susan quickly!  I'm already seeing some increased traffic to my shop :)

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!  I hope everyone has a great day and finds goodies that the Easter Bunny left for us ;)  I know my little girl loved all her goodies and had a blast hunting for Easter eggs filled with cheerios, lol!  She thought she was getting quite the treat!  After the day is over she'll end up with FOUR baskets of goodies, what a spoiled kid, huh?  I fear my husband and I will suffer most of the calorie intake....

Jazz
Wish
I wanted to mention a few new tiles in my shop that I just listed!  I have Wish and Jazz Scrabble tile pendants available in my shop!  I wanted to expand on the Dandelion Wishes tiles I listed earlier using a similar style but different summery colors: coral and olive!  I haven't forgotten about blogging about the original painting series that these tiles came from-I will post once I get a chance to photograph them!  The Jazz tile is a fun music inspired piece with playful music notes and curvy piano keys!  It was based on a design I had made for a custom order that I really liked.  Check them out in my Etsy shop!

Copper and Bronze
Elegance
I'm also really happy that I sold one of my 42" necklaces, Copper and Bronze Elegance!  I sold the pretty red one, but the cobalt blue necklace is still looking for a happy home!  It's made up of a variety of different shapes and sizes of Czech and lampwork glass in cobalt blue, capri blue and clear.  I really enjoyed making these and I plan on adding more colors when I get more beads!  I need some bright summery colors in Czech glass!

I've also got TONS more jewelry to list in my shop soon as well after my jewelry party, so keep an eye out in early May for brand new summer jewelry!  More beachy jewelry, anklets, earrings and more!

Lastly, here's some treasuries I've had the honor of being in recently!  Take a peek!

Big Custom Order!

I was so happy to get my first custom order through Etsy, and a big one too!  I had done other small custom orders through jewelery parties earlier, but nothing online through my Etsy store.  The customer first wanted three custom tiles based off my coffee house Scrabble tile for a school play.  I sent her photos of the finished tiles and she liked them enough that she expanded her order to include 20 custom designed tiles!  They turned out super cute and I may make a few new tiles with a music theme based on one of the designs not chosen, minus the "Gusto's Cafe" of course, lol!

I shipped them out just this morning, I'm glad she's so excited to get them!  I certainly had fun making them!

Now that my little daughter is over at Grandma's off to work I go :)  I have a few things left to do to prepare for the craft show this weekend and I'm getting pretty excited to go!  I've got over 100 different jewelry designs to choose from and I've got maybe 20 some different Scrabble tile pendant designs/color options to choose from that will be there also!  Plus several original artworks and series that I've been working on over the past month!  I've been quite the busy little bee!  Have a great day everyone, enjoy the warm sunshine!

BRAND NEW and Just in Time For Mother's Day!

I just finished up and listed My Little Sweet Pea pea pod necklaces in my Etsy Shop!  They turned out just darling too!  Like I had said in an earlier post, I had seen other pea pod necklaces made from silver wire and had been wanting to design my own unique design for some time now, in copper of course!  I put my string of pretty green pearls to good use as little "peas" in a pod, and they look just perfect!  I designed the pendant using a hand forged copper wire frame and then wire wrapped and weaved a smaller gauge solid copper wire with the pearls over the frame to create the little pea pod shape.  I just really wanted to break away from the usual wire wrapped around a headpin design I've seen in similar necklaces.  I then finished the pendant with a warm patina and attached it to a twisted copper ring and added a pretty Czech glass bicone charm to match!  The listing in my shop is for 1-4 "peas" but if you'd like more than that please see the listing for more information and pricing!  Excellent and heartfelt gift for Mom or Grandma!

And yes, they will be available in person at both the craft show and my jewelry party I will be hosting this month!  Don't forget the craft show is Saturday, April 16th 9am-4pm at the Gladstone Armory and the jewelry party is on Saturday, April 30th 2-4:30pm at Bayview Manor in Gladstone.  To RSVP for the jewelry party or for more information, please email me at heversonart@gmail.com.  I'd love to see you there!

Another item recently listed is a new Scrabble tile pendant called Dandelion Wishes!  I have a painting series that these cuties came from that I have not yet listed because they will be at the shows I'm attending.  As a kid I remember making a wish and blowing dandelion seeds all over the yard, so I wanted to recreate this fond childhood memory through my artwork.  The tiles come in two background colors of fuchsia and teal and feature a whimsical little dandelion puff.  Check back soon for the post on the painting series, if I have any left over after the shows they will be listed on Etsy of course too!

Here's a recent treasury I've been featured in, enjoy!

Sweet Birdie's Nest and a SNEAK PEEK at My Raffle Item!

Sweet Birdie's Nest
Left: Blue, Right: White

This isn't a new listing but I've been sitting on my new pearls for some time and I wanted to remake my cute little bird's nest using them!  I made them in both blue and white and they look just perfect in the little copper nests!  Like my original design they are hand made by me using solid copper wire that has been finished with a warm patina and protected with Renaissance Wax which preserves the patina and also protects the skin of those with metal sensitivities.  It's hung from a black waxed cotton cord and is adjustable from 18" to 20" with a sturdy copper plated lobster clasp.  This would make the cutest Mother's Day gift!  See the listing here for more details!

I wanted to show everyone a little sneak peek at the raffle item that will be at my jewelry party on Saturday April 30th.  It's a gorgeous Chinese cloisonne fish necklace that's one-of-a-kind!  This cute little goldfish is fully articulating and stunningly glazed in jewel toned blue and white.  The bronze plated mother and son chain has various hand made links with genuine pearls, metal beads, a Czech glass heart and matching cloisonne beads!  It's also adjustable from 18" to 20" with a lobster clasp.  This item is ONLY available at my jewelry party as a free raffle prize worth $28!  Email me at heversonart@gmail.com if you're interested in attending for your chance to win this necklace!
