Woodland Flower

Hey all!  I have a great Christmas craft show that I'll be at this Saturday and I wanted to give everyone a heads up that many items in my shop will be deactivated that day.  It'd be pretty embarrassing if I sold a one of a kind item twice!  So with that in mind, if there's been any pretties that you've been drooling over in my shop, you may want to get it now or risk having it gone forever!

Yellow and Orange Bohemian Silk

For you local folks, I'll be at the Eskymo Christmas Craft Show at the Escanaba Area High School and my booth will be in the commons (cafeteria) in the same front and center spot as last year!  It will be on Saturday November 10th from 9-5 with $1 admission to support the Baseball Booster Club.  I certainly hope to see you there!  I have no plans at this moment to be in any other shows this year so this may be your only chance to snag some of my wire wrapped beauties at 30% - 50% off my online prices!

Woodland Honey Necklace

I still have trouble believing it's September already as if being in denial will change the fact that summer is quickly fading away.  That being said, I have been working on some new fall-minded items and I do welcome the rich tones of autumn colors in my designs!  Here's a few of my most recent designs but keep your eye out for more coming very soon!

Woodland Honey Earrings

Dainty and sweet with a drop of golden honey glass and a darling   brass bird bead, this Woodland Honey Necklace is ready for beautiful autumn fashions!  The Czech glass drop and brass bird dangle from a pretty antique brass leafy branch attached to the brass chain.  The matching earrings feature leafy brass twigs hanging under antique brass bird beads.  For a touch of warm color, honey Czech glass daggers dangle below, wire wrapped with solid brass.

Autumn Blaze

My Autumn Blaze Necklace features luxurious sari silk, magnesite, and goldstone gemstones. Velvety soft coppery orange sari silk ribbon melds perfectly with the warm patina of the copper wire on the gemstone beads. I've wire wrapped, oxidized and polished the gemstone links which feature natural cream and tan colored magnesite and beautifully carved sparkling goldstone leaves.

Hand painted coffee house style Scrabble tile necklaces are perfect for the coffee lover!  The Latte Necklace is painted in a rich ochre yellow and royal blue using acrylic paint with the word “latte” hand painted along the side.  The Mocha Necklace features a bright green mug with piping hot coffee sits against a rich orange background with the word “mocha” hand painted along the side.

This retro style Chevron Scrabble Necklace features a hand painted chevron pattern clad in bright orange and cool teal! I painted the pattern free hand using acrylic paint on the back of a vintage scrabble game tile hung on a brown waxed cotton cord.

 As a last fling of summer, I created the Iris Bloom Necklace which features a stunning brass wire wrapped sea quartz briolette surrounded by gemstone chips that represent the colors of an iris! I wire wrapped the milky sea blue briolette with solid brass wire and surrounded it with a multitude of genuine amethyst, peridot, and amazonite gemstone chips. Each of the little chips uses hand cut and hammered paddle headpins for a rustic touch.  Don't forget to check out the matching earrings too!

Recent Listings

I've had quite a few new items listed in my shop over the past few weeks and I'm excited to introduce you to them all!

Bright and beautiful for spring, this Turquoise Rose shabby chic antique brass necklace features rustic turquoise magnesite gemstones and a lovely turquoise resin rose cabochon on a filigree flower brass link. The chain is a pretty textured antique brass cable chain with a little heart connector on the gemstone side.  I just love the look of magnesite and I'm really excited to be incorporating the resin flower cabochons I purchased!  Update: this item just sold!

This Key to the Garden vintage style skeleton key necklace is full of charm! A light peach colored mum cabochon is attached to the key pendant and surrounded with sparkling Swarovski pearls and little fire polished Czech glass beads in soft muted colors. The pendant hangs on a small antique brass heart link for a sweet touch and a brass swallow connector is attached on the textured chain. I love the idea of old keys unlocking secret places, what secret place would you say this key unlocks?

My Romantic Leaf Bracelet features shimmering mauve Swarovski pearls surround the earthy antique copper leaf toggle clasp in this romantic nature inspired bracelet. The antique copper adds a warm vintage touch to it. Looks gorgeous paired with the matching necklace!

The matching Romantic Leaf Necklace is shabby chic and romantic, also featuring a beautiful copper leaf clasp! The mauve pearls and amethyst glass beads sparkle with soft color among the antique copper links and chain. The leaf toggle clasp was just too pretty to cover up, so I made it front closing to add a touch of nature inspired beauty.

Last but not least is my new line of Romantic Rosette Necklaces in Orange, Olive, Blue, and Iris Grey.  They're made of pure sari silk ribbon in vibrant colors hung on either a copper or brass chain.  I've left the ribbon un-edged for a beautiful raw and worn appearance!  I'm going to be making more designs of these soon and hoping to add more colors if I can as well!

New Sari Silk Wraps!

I thought I would try my hand at making sari silk wraps since I've got a mountain of sari silk ribbon begging to be made into something beautiful!  I love trying out new things and since I hadn't worked too much with fabric I thought I would give it go and besides I can't say no to the luxurious buttery soft fabric against my skin!  the best part about these wraps is that they're long and can be wrapped around your wrist, ankle or neck!  You're essentially getting a 3 for 1 piece of jewelry!

Mosaic Sari Silk Wrap

The one pictured above is Mosaic.  A large and earthy turquoise magnesite focal bead is surrounded by lux sari silk ribbon in a beautiful peacock blue color with wisps of violet and olive.  I've left the ribbon  un-edged for its raw and untamed beauty!

Charmed Sari Silk Wrap

Charmed is a luxurious sari silk ribbon in a gorgeous iris grey with wisps of purple feature a collection of wing, rose, heart and key charms to name a few for a romantic and vintage look.

By The Sea Sari Silk Wrap

By The Sea uses silk ribbon also in a peacock blue and features several ocean themed charms including a genuine shell and pearl! Also included are a seahorse and little starfish charm ready for the beach!

Turquoise Pebbles Necklace

Lastly, I've got two more new items in my shop, Turquoise Pebbles Necklace and Earrings.  I've always enjoyed the simple beauty of bar necklaces and the tumbled nuggets add a wonderful rustic element to both the necklace and earrings.  They are both hung on delicate brass chain and are versatile enough for casual wear or with a pretty summer dress!
